Illustration Friday - Safari

For this week's Illustration Friday word safari, I wanted to try to be a bit more loose with my painting.  It is a bit out of my comfort zone.  I also wanted to do an animal that I haven't really done before.  So,  since my daughter LOVES Diego the Animal Rescuer AND since I seemed to have the song "Symbiotic" ( a song about the rhino and oxpecker"s symbiotic relationship) stuck in my head....here they are!!  I am really happy with how it turned out!

  5. Well, see how rewarding a step away from a comfort zone is! It is a very nice illustration. Why does the rhino looks a bit sad? What is the ox pecker saying to the rhino? What is the rhino looking at?
It looks like it is the cover picture of a nice children's book.
